I've been taking my cars to Sergio for years. I can tell you many instances where he has provided top notch service above and beyond what is expected, but let me give you this one example. I had a check engine light come on, and noticed a burning smell coming out from under the hood. I took the car to the Ford dealer, and was told that I needed a new engine for my Excursion. Well, unfortunately was less than 200 miles out of warranty, and without an extra few thousand bucks laying around for a new engine. I took the SUV to Sergio, he thoroughly examined it, and told me that he thought a good tune-up and some minor things is all that was needed, and definitely NOT a new engine that Ford was trying to pitch to me. Well, after his repairs which costed me less than $400, my vehicle is still going strong almost 6 years later! He is an honest guy and knows his stuff.

Sergio and Son are the best Mechanic I have ever had. He and his son are very courteous with me whenever I needed his services. If I was taking my car for an oil change and was not due depending on the milage being less from the one formulated for the change due, he would explain why not due for change. If there any service needed he would let you know, give you an estimate and no hidden charges. There were other instances when I needed a ride home, he would do it for free or take it to the coffee shop across when you would wait There other instances I cannot say how many ties he has helped me. Sergio is top notch for all your breakdown/planned car needs. I broke down in the middle of the night in San Pablo and first thing in the morning Sergio called me to check in about my vehicle, being that it's an easy position to be taken advantage of I was so surprised when Sergio quoted me so fairly for my vehicle repairs when I had thought that it was the end of the line for my car ! He was so great that I even went back to get my brakes done which he promptly finished ! I would send any of my friends or family there!
